ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Students from the St. Alphonsus Theological and Mission Institute (SATMI) of the Course Th202 โ€œDialogue With And Other Religionโ€ made a visit to Ateneo de Davao University to interact with Islamic Studies students and the Madaris Volunteer Program last April 23, 2025 . This significant encounter highlights the principles of interreligious dialogue, harmony, and synodality, promoting mutual understanding between faith traditions. Such an encounter enabled students to exchange ideas, experiences, and views on religious coexistence, deepening relationships founded on respect and learning. The initiative underscored the significance of synodalityโ€”a path of walking together in harmony in spite of differences. Through open dialogue and cultural exchange, participants enhanced their appreciation for diversity while reaffirming a commitment to peace-building. The SATMI visit showed how interreligious cooperation can open doors for solidarity, both academically and spiritually. As these students carry on their work, they are a shining example of the power of dialogue in fostering a harmonious society based on empathy and shared values.
