The Academic Program at SAT-MIFI

        The full Theological Academic Program spans four years—equivalent to eight semesters. During the first two years of theology, the basic foundational courses are covered—especially scripture and dogma. The third year is the mission immersion year.

       The last two years of theology focuses on moral studies and pastoral experiential learning. As a requirement of the program, students write two papers: missiological and theological synthesis to be presented in the panel of experts.

The M.A. Program

        The Ateneo de Davao University will credit an equivalent of two years of theology for the Master of Arts in Theology degree. The M.A. degree in Theology is a two-year graduate program consisting of four semesters, requiring a total number of 57 units. The missiological and theological synthesis papers are considered requirements for the Master’s Degree.
